Jan 31st
Saturday.... My Fishing Day has finally arrived.....
Location: Pemberton
Why Pemberton.... two easy words "Trout Farm"
Firstly, I must recommend this to anyone who is looking for a day or 1/2 out.
So reasonably priced and worth every cent.
$5.00 to Fish, bait, pellets, bucket, hook "get ter outera"
$1.00 to hire rod
And two massive lakes about the size of a football oval to fish around.
Secret: Throw your line in, then a small handful of pellets over where it landed.
I got my first in about 15-20mins after figuring out the secret...
What do you think? Good hey.... Like it Kimmie?
After about an hour we had caught 4, me three mum was happy with just one... Gave the remainer of bait away to a kid fishing and walked back to the office,
They weight the fish then, your buy them ($16.80, so $4.20 a fish), if you want you can have them cooked then and there with salad and chips for an extra $3, The farm had a tour in so we decided to take them home and enjoy them cooked on the open fire tonight for tea. LOVELY....
King's Trout and Marron Farm worth a visit for sure
Went to the Pemberton Pool, Strangely enough up swimming pool road near the caravan park. Bloody hot day.

Headed into Nannup for the best Morning Tea of the Trip... Peach and Apple cake and a coffee.

Stopped at a fruit stand on the side of the road.. Got to love that... sweet but yet bitter plums.....mmmmm
Set up camp at Big Brook Dam, then went for a drive and a short 4km around the dam, they even have a beach for the locals.

Jan 29th
Up, up and away in my beautiful green and blue caravan and green car.
Departure: Mandurah
Stops: Peppermint Grove Beach, Busselton,
Arrival: Nannup Workmans Pool
Adventures for the day:
Peppermint grove has unexciting so headed into Busselton, got the best parking spot ever and spent the day relaxing and enjoying the beach.
Ranger came to visit me, just to remind me I wasnt allowed to camp there... No camping in the shire..
Set off for Nannup late in the evening. After a 20km to far past the turn off we finally found the campsite... Thanks Leewin Civil (main roads) for moving the road signs... (I love these boys but thats a story for tomorrow)
BIGGEST spider I have ever seen was waiting for me in the fee envelope box. Scared the shit out of me... I refused to pay
for the overnight camping on principle.
